The SD45 series was built between February of 1965 June of 1975, weighs 368,000 lbs and uses a 645E3 20 cylinder diesel prime mover that develops 3600 hp, and 92,000 lb of tractive effort, and carries 3200 gallons of fuel. My thanks to The Diesel Shop for the information.
